Is it the Ritz or is it the Starship Enterprise?

No, its our new galley - which has just been rated 5* by the EHO inspection.

As you can see work continues apace, ready for our opening on 17 May.

A new steward has been appointed and they, along with the furloughed staff, have been shown the new bars.

This week sees the start of the laying of the flooring and carpets under the direction of club member, Gordon Kingston-Minnis.

The entertainment system is now in place, with two very large screens for covering sports events and also video replays of our club sailing. Yes, you will be able to go for the replay if you are over the line (only joking).

The Management Committee have a appointed a Facilities Manager to work with the Rear Commodore House in the running of the new Clubhouse. Club member Peter Weeks has volunteered to be the first in this role which covers the running of the building with the Rear Commodore running the bars and staff.
