RYA Adult Level 1 » RYA Adult Level 1 Theory Cancelled

This short course, consisting of three sessions, provides an introduction to sailing for novices.

By the end of the course participants should have a basic understanding of boat handling techniques and background knowledge.

The practical element of the course will take place over the weekend at the Andrew Simpson Water Centre in Portsmouth.

Before starting the practical part of the course, you will have the opportunity to meet Lee on Solent Sailing Club's training team during a theory session on Thursday evening.

Eligibility:

This course is open to Club Members aged 16 and over.

No previous experience is required.
