Lee-on-the-Solent Sailing Club runs Royal Yachting Association (RYA) recognised Powerboat Level 1 and 2 courses to provide training of patrol boat crews to support the club's sailing activities.
You will be taught how to handle a powerboat in various conditions, boat controls, turning, boat handling, coming alongside and leaving, tying up to moorings, anchoring, basic navigation, and much more. There will be two evenings of theory and two days of practical teaching on the water.
On completion of the course you will receive an RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate
You must be either a sailing or social member of LOSSC and 14 years of age or over.
