Lee on Solent Sailing Club (LOSSC) is a thriving, member-run club, widely known as "the friendliest sailing club on the South Coast"
Established in 1907, the club enjoys an enviable position on the edge of the finest Solent sailing waters, offering extensive sailing and social programmes.
LOSSC offers a full range of sailing activities for all ages and abilities, including racing, leisure sailing and RYA accredited training courses.
We run races from March to November for our supported dinghy classes and handicap fleets, and organise social sailing events for those preferring non-competitive sailing.
Our active social calendar includes a wide variety of formal and informal events, including dinners, BBQs, quiz nights and snooker. Social Membership is available for those preferring not to sail but wishing to enjoy the club atmosphere and company of our members.
In 2020 our brand new Clubhouse will open, offering comfort, style and stunning views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight. It will provide a members' bar and club room, a dedicated snooker room, and an impressive new function room.
The aim of this website is to keep members, prospective members, the local community and anyone interested in water sports, the Club and our facilities, up-to-date with what we are doing, have done or are about to do. It will be regularly updated so please return to keep up-to-date with all our news and events.
I'm sure you will find plenty of interest here, but if you require any further details, please take a look at our Contact page for the names and contact details of committee members and other people who can help.
Welcome to LOSSC!
