    Open Meeting - RS200, RS400 and RS500

    Lee on the Solent Sailing Club welcomes the RS fleets to our club on 8 and 9 June. Six Races are planned, 3 each day. To enter follow the link below Camping is available on Friday and Saturday night. Link below An Open Event Dinner is available to book on Saturday night.     Start of the Season

    We had a superb day for the first race of the Saturday series, especially welcome after the washout of the Brass Monkey. Not only did we have blue skies with a gentle S Easterly breeze, it was even relatively warm. Twenty boats took part, racing a course which was a triangle and sausage. The fast fleet race consisted of four RS400s and was won by Neil Bevington

    The Marlow Rope Show at LOSSC

    The Marlow Rope Show took place on Thursday 1 February at the LOSSC Clubhouse. Representatives from Marlow Ropes were on hand to teach us how to maximise the performance of our lines, with information on rope care and management, splicing tutorials, recognising fatigue and choosing the right line for the job.
