The Trainee Awards Night is a celebration of the achievements of all our Gybe Club cadets, our Adult RYA level 1 and 2 trainees and members who have signed up to the Race Development courses. As well as receiving your certificate from our Rear Commodore Sailing, there is a choice of two courses and an opportunity to enjoy the party. Since the new Clubhouse opened on 17 May, members have been enjoying all it has to offer. There are worse ways of spending an evening than sitting on a balcony overlooking the Solent and the Isle of Wight, watching the sun going down, while enjoying the service from a well-stocked bar and surrounded by good company.

The opening of the new Clubhouse took place on Monday 17th May. Club member Jonty Yates marked the occasion by playing the reveille, while Commodore, Barry Easton Corke raised the Ensign. COMING SOON - RYA START/INTERMEDIATE RACING Starting on Saturday 29 May, this 8 week course is designed to give you the confidence, skills and knowledge to take part in club racing in good conditions.
