Class Open Meetings
LOSSC offers excellent sailing waters, safety support, a friendly welcome and all the sustenance required to make a good open meeting.
In recent years we have hosted Class Opens for the 2000s, Phantoms, Aeros and RS400s.

Volunteers Needed
Hosting Open Meetings and National Championships at LOSSC brings many benefits to the club, but to make them a success we need members to volunteer.
The volunteer roles needed include:
Beach master and helpers for all events including those prepared to be in the water holding boats
Catering team for teas, bacon butties etc
Patrol boat crews (three or possibly four RIBs) with at least one person per boat having some experience of mark laying and general safety cover for open events
Committee boat team of four or five people.
