Blaze Nationals Championship 2026!
This is the event page for the upcoming Blaze National Championships at LOSSC.
All event entries will include a Friday night three-course served meal and a buffet meal on the Saturday night. If you have any partners, family or friends who would like to join for the meals then please book them in separately/additionally.
Friday's three course meal is:
Starter
Peri Peri chicken wings with a blue cheese dip
Tempura cauliflower with a sweet chilli dip (v)
Main
Homemade beef lasagna with garlic bread and salad
Vegetarian lasagna with garlic bread and salad (v)
Dessert
Warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream
Early Entry Sponsorship! Those who enter before the 22nd February (the same date as the RYA Dinghy Show) will be provided with a discounted entry down to a great value-for-money £120. Refund Raffle! The early bird catches the worm, everyone who enters via Early Entry will be entered into the Refund Raffle! This Raffle will guarantee that not one but TWO participants will receive their entry fees back, all courtesy of one of our generous Entry Raffle Sponsor, OffGrid Pro thank you to the sponsors. The random draw will take place during the event's social calendar you've got to be in it to win it!
Camping! The club welcomes both tents and campervans for the weekend. There is a charge (with the fees set by the council) so please include this at the time of your event entry booking. You will be contacted by one of the LOSSC team members closer to the event to confirm your arrival time, so we can ensure you have access to the camping field. When you arrive, please drop your boat off at the slipway/sailing compound before moving your vehicle to the camping area. Car parking is included with your camping (provided you are parked in the field immediately adjacent, for any tent campers) but access will be restricted due to the council barriers. There will be access to the changing room toilets overnight and bacon butties available in the morning.
