Quiz Night

Monday 11th May saw another lively and very closely fought quiz night.

Despite the change from our usual day, we still had eleven teams - including two joining us for the first time - the Halls and the Starrs.

There were four rounds: Geography and History, Famous names, Sayings and their origins, and Colours - with a bonus point round of photographs of well-known people when they were younger.

On the last round we had six of the eleven teams tying on 24.5 points - so there was everything to play for on the bonus picture round.

Well done Jenny and Carl Morris whose 11 bonus points meant they surged from third to first place winning with a total of 40 points, Peter and Jayne Weeks in a very respectable second place with 38.5, and Brian and Elaine Starr for beating Bernard and Sue by just half a mark to third place.
