SAILING SEASON HAS STARTED

This year's Sailing Season began with the Brass Monkey race, which unusually enjoyed warm sunny weather and fair winds.

Since then, we have seen everything from winds so light boats have ended up sailing backwards, to races being cancelled due to Force 8 winds.

But luckily, there has been plenty of good sailing weather as can be seen from this footage of Thursday's race (courtesy of Ben Shirley).
