The Solstice Regatta is one of the highlights of the sailing season, offering three consecutive days of (hopefully) warm summer sailing in the Solent.

* Separate Novice starts and course, full signal station start sequence

* Entry fee for all 3 days - £5 for a single-hander and £10 for a double-hander

* Experienced and novice adults and cadets' welcome

* Prizes awarded after final event

THREE CLASS STARTS, ONE RACE PER EVENIING

Fast PY 955 and below

Medium PY 956 to 1140

Slow PY - 1141 to 1642

Class 1 Black flag shape - Fast Handicap start for all boats PY-955 and below. Class will cover 49er, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800 and any other boats below that number.

Class 2 Red flag shape - Medium Handicap start for boats of PY 956 - PY 1140 - Laser 2000, Phantom, Aero 5,6,7,9, Laser, Solution, Contender, Blaze, OK, RS200.

Class 3 Green flag shape - Slow Handicap start for boats of PY 1141 PY 1642- Laser R, Laser 4.7, Europe, Topper, Feva, Mirror, British Moth, FireFly, Solo, Zest and to include novice and Race development sailors.
