Dinosaur Walk to London - Day 6

A very personal update from Graeme today!
Day 6 - MND on my mind
Whilst we have always tried to make this journey upbeat and lighthearted there is a serious side to what I am doing. The pictures are of my mum who passed away in Nov 2019 aged 69. She was diagnosed in April 2019 - 8 months later she had passed away. MND kills a third of people within a year and half within two years of diagnosis. The thing that has struck me the most about this amazing journey we have been on is that every single person who has stopped us to talk has a story to tell about MND. Personally this is my WHY we have done this walk and the marathon. It literally robs families of their loved ones which is why it is SO IMPORTANT to find a CURE and my WHY for getting to the finish line at London Marathon. Your donations will ALL be going to this cause to stop other families losing people they care for. This week has been hard physically on my legs (if your squeamish don't look at the last picture!) but NOTHING compared to what an MND sufferer has to go through every day. My mum will be with me on the marathon all the way around as my motivation to help find a cure.
Please if you can support the MND Association to help them find a cure https://www.justgiving.com/.../graeme-lloyd-1720354995832...
