The annual competitions have been progressing at pace, with some excellent games of snooker taking place. We now have the finalists confirmed for the Men's and Ladies competitions, with the mixed doubles semi-finals due to be played in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for further updates on the big finalés!

One of the best things about playing in the snooker competitions is the opportunity to meet other like-minded members at our club. Competitors have asked for more! So, after having had a very successful trial with running a friendly Snooker League, Team Snooker would now like to offer the opportunity out to the whole LOSSC community!
The aim is to provide a non-competitive, weekly fixture against a different opponent, encouraging the social side of the game whilst also providing a regular game for people. It will also help keep the snooker tables, and our clubhouse, busy! We will fine-tune the format once we know who is interested. It will likely be two leagues, on a Monday and Wednesday nights (due to the sailing calendar) which are also traditionally quieter nights. Fear not, there will still be plenty of evenings and time available for those who just want a casual game.
