Post Marathon Update

Last Day - London Marathon you did not disappoint!

I have never seen so many people line a course and make so much noise it didn't feel real. I had a plan to see if I could run most of the first half to buy myself some time to then walk the last half which worked 6 hours and 4 minutes FINISHED.

The heat was worse than expected and I witnessed several people literally fall off the course suffering from heat stroke, so stopping at every water station was first priority. That all being said I really enjoyed the day it is a unique race and I loved running around cutty sark as my highlight.

My cousins surprised me on the course which totally through me but a great surprise. And lastly a big thank you to my wife rachel who has put up with all the times I've been out walking but was on the course dashing around to see me a different points to give me a hug xx

I have so many people to thank for making this last week possible, I am extremely lucky to have such an amazing group of friends and family so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all of you you know who you are x

Finally WOW I didn't look at the fundraising total until a couple of hours after the race but at current you have raised £10,636 AMAZING!! This will make a difference to finding a cure . The MND Association are working tirelessly to end the suffering and they won't stop until a breakthrough is made. Thank you to everyone who has donated you don't know how much this means to me x

My dinosaur days are now over it has been an amazing journey and I'm going to take a couple of days to recover and smile about all the memories that we have made
