SLOSHH
Published 18:57 on 3 Jul 2022
This year's SLOSHH, hosted by Seafarers Sailing Club, saw a windy start.
Twelve boats launched from Lee on Solent, with gusty winds helping them reach Seafarers in record times.
It wasn't 'plain sailing' by any means, with several capsizes along the way, tricky gybing and hairy kite dropping.
But it was worth it, with LOSSC members taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and as a club Lee on Solent brought the SLOSHH trophy back, which means we will be hosting the SLOSHH next year.
Several members went to Seafarers to enjoy the sandwiches and homemade cakes, as well as a tipple or two to receive the trophy. Thank you to Seafarers for hosting.
The final results are:
1st Tim Czura
2nd Callum Aldous
3rd Neil Bevington and Alan Skeens.
Well done to all who ventured out and took part.
